Your mission:
Adragos Athens (member of Adragos Pharma) is an innovative contract development company based in Europe. Our primary focus is to provide high-quality research for the development of generic and generic-plus products. Adragos Athens is seeking to hire a Formulation Technician who will accommodate a wide range of R&D activities pertaining to the formulation, process development and technology transfer of drug products. The R&D Formulation Technician will be expected to operate within a competent team of scientists and will report to the Formulation Senior Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Formulation Senior Manager in designing and conducting formulation process development studies for solid, liquid, and semi-solid dosage forms.
• Prepare and compound pharmaceutical formulations following established procedures and recipes.
• Assist in the development and optimization of formulation processes for solid, liquid, and semi-solid dosage forms. Support in the preparation and execution of stability studies.
• Conduct routine testing and analysis of formulations, including physical and chemical characterization.
• Ensuring maintenance of all formulation laboratory resources and equipment.
• Document and report results of all experiments.
• Participate in technology transfer activities, including the transfer of formulation processes and knowledge from the research and development stage to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with formulation scientists and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve formulation-related issues.
Your profile:
• Bachelor's or higher in relevant scientific discipline, Pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences
• Previous experience (2 years) in a formulation development role or relevant laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Computer literacy including use of Excel, and other MS Office software.
