Position: Quantity Surveyor/Estimator
Salary: ₱90,000 – ₱130,000/month
Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM New Zealand Time
Holidays: TBD
OVERVIEW
The company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor and Estimator responsible for estimating, quantity take-offs, subcontractor coordination, contract administration, and financial management across residential projects, while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with Health & Safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carry out estimation, measuring, and quantity take-offs for residential projects.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor tender quotations.
• Prepare subcontract documents and issue purchase orders.
• Assess, manage, and track project variations.
• Process subcontractor and supplier payment claims.
• Conduct financial analysis and back-costing upon project completion.
• Perform contract administration, including Title, CCC, Vector, Watercare, and Chorus applications.
• Manage project budgets, tender documentation, and CCA claims.
• Maintain document control and accurate record keeping within company systems.
• Ensure prioritization and compliance with Health & Safety standards.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor/Estimator.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with strong capability in Excel, Word, and Teams, as well as Gmail and measuring software.
• Experience using CostX software is preferred.
• Proven background in residential Quantity Surveying.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
