Position: QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Salary range: up to ₱100,000 PHP (with the final offer subject to the client’s discretion based on the candidate’s experience)
Working Hours: AU/NZ business hours
Work set-up: 100% Remote work

An Australian home building company specializing in the construction of quality residential properties. The team focuses on delivering well-designed homes with efficient project management, accurate costing, and strong collaboration with suppliers and contractors.
OVERVIEW ON THE ROLE
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, pricing labour and materials, and supporting project budgeting throughout the construction lifecycle. This role requires experience with Australian construction standards, supplier pricing, and estimating processes.
Experience using Buildertrend is highly preferred.
Core Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects
• Price labour, materials, and subcontractor costs
• Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering plans
• Assist in preparing project budgets and cost breakdowns
• Monitor project costs and assist in cost control throughout the build
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain updated pricing
• Maintain accurate cost records and estimation documentation
• Utilize Buildertrend to manage project estimates and cost tracking
• Support the construction team with variations, cost updates, and financial reporting
Requirements:
Required
• Minimum 2 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for Australian construction projects
• Experience in pricing labour and materials within the Australian residential construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs
• Experience performing quantity take-offs and cost estimation
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Skills
• Experience using Buildertrend
• Experience working with Australian builders or residential construction companies
• Familiarity with Australian building codes and construction practices
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet-based costing experience
• Good communication skills for coordinating with builders, suppliers, and project managers
