We are looking for a driven and analytical Quantitative Trader to join our trading team in India. This role is ideal for professionals with at least two years of experience in quantitative trading, systematic strategies, or algorithmic trading environments. As a Quantitative Trader, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying data-driven trading strategies across various asset classes.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and optimize quantitative trading strategies based on statistical and mathematical models
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and market opportunities
• Conduct backtesting and forward testing to evaluate strategy performance and robustness
• Monitor live trading systems and ensure smooth execution of algorithmic strategies
• Manage risk by implementing position sizing models, stop-loss mechanisms, and exposure controls
• Improve execution quality by optimizing order routing and transaction cost analysis
• Collaborate with technology teams to enhance trading infrastructure and automation
• Track performance metrics and refine strategies based on market behavior
• Maintain documentation of trading models, assumptions, and performance results
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging quantitative techniques
What Makes You a Great Fit
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quantitative trading, algorithmic trading, or systematic strategy roles
• Strong understanding of financial markets including equities, derivatives, commodities, or crypto (as applicable)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar for strategy development
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability, linear algebra, and financial mathematics
• Experience with backtesting frameworks and data analysis tools
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets
• Familiarity with risk management principles and performance metrics such as Sharpe ratio, drawdown, and volatility
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure trading environments
