Quantitative Crypto Treasury Analyst

We are looking for a Quantitative Crypto Treasury Analyst, a technical architect who thrives at the intersection of data science, crypto market structure, and risk engineering! As our Analyst, you’ll join our Asset Management team to build the nervous system of a significant crypto treasury. You’ll work on everything from automating risk dashboards and backtesting yield strategies to dissecting external fund performance, all while ensuring our infrastructure is as robust as our returns.

A Day in the Life

You start your day by checking the automated health monitors you architected. When volatility shifts our Basis Trade position, your system calculates the optimal rebalance instantly. You then turn your attention to a new Pendle opportunity, running a Python simulation to verify that the liquidity is deep enough to handle our size without slippage.

After grabbing a coffee in our Hong Kong pantry and entertainment area, you present the data to the Portfolio Manager. The rest of your day is spent building: automating the weekly P&L via SQL, technically vetting an external counterparty's custody setup, and shipping improvements to our real-time risk dashboard. You build the radar. We fly the ship.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in crypto data analysis, quantitative finance, or software engineering.
• Comfortable turning data into working interfaces, dashboards, internal tools, or prototypes. Using whatever stack is appropriate (Python, SQL, or comparable tooling).
• A deep technical grasp of crypto market mechanics—you are comfortable calculating the math behind AMM curves and option Greeks, while equally fluent in CEX cross-margin logic, funding rates, and liquidation engines.
• Data Synthesis: The ability to synthesise complex data from disparate sources—blockchains, exchange APIs, and lending reports—into a unified, actionable view for the Treasury team.
• The ability to thrive in a high-autonomy environment, whether remote or in-office.

It’d be great, but not strictly necessary, if you also had:

• Experience integrating APIs (Fireblocks, CEXs, Dune Analytics) into automated workflows.
• Familiarity with Solidity (enough to read a contract and spot risks, not necessarily write one).
• Exposure to options pricing models or basis trading strategies.

You will be responsible for:

• Data Infrastructure: Building automated pipelines to ingest raw data from custodians, CEXs, and blockchains. You will consolidate this data into a single, unified dashboard to ensure the team is always looking at the same real-time numbers.
• Strategy Research: Conducting quantitative simulations and backtests for internal yield strategies (Lending, Basis Trading, Concentrated Liquidity) to guide allocation decisions.
• Strategy Operationalisation: Converting high-level investment mandates into executable code. You design the execution mechanics and propose specific risk controls to ensure operational safety prior to deployment.
• Process Automation: Automating data collection for weekly reporting and P&L attribution, eliminating manual data entry and reconciliation errors from the treasury workflow.
• Due Diligence: Performing data-driven audits of external counterparties and yield protocols to validate their performance claims and calibrate internal exposure limits based on credit risk.
• Risk Engineering: Developing code-based monitoring tools that continuously scan for threats—such as health factor degradation, oracle de-pegs, or credit limit breaches—and alerting the team immediately if safety thresholds are crossed.
