Quality & Test Specialist

We are looking for an external consultant, Quality & Test Specialist, to join our team and support quality assurance and testing activities across ICT projects and applications. The role focuses on test strategy, test planning, execution, and quality management, ensuring that systems meet functional and technical requirements. You will work in structured environments, contributing to both manual and automated testing processes, as well as integration and system-level validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse systems under testing and define appropriate testing approaches
• Design test strategies and develop test acceptance criteria
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test scripts, and test data
• Prepare and manage testing environments
• Perform testing activities and report test results
• Identify, log, and track defects and potential improvements
• Produce documentation supporting quality management processes
• Contribute to integration testing activities and validation processes
• Support white-box and black-box testing at unit, module, system, and integration levels
• Participate in defect tracking and resolution processes
• Contribute to test result analysis and reporting
• Support the development and use of testing tools and frameworks
• Contribute to improving testing standards, efficiency, and effectiveness

Requirements:
• 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Testing, or similar roles
• EQF Level 5 qualification (mandatory, with proof available prior to submission)
• Strong experience in software testing principles and methodologies
• Experience in test strategy design and test planning
• Experience in integration testing and system validation
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and automated testing strategies
• Experience working with web technologies and Microsoft-based applications
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and risk management procedures
• Experience producing structured documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results
• Strong communication skills in English
