What You’ll Do:
Help drive the systems that ensure Protocase consistently delivers world-class quality to some of the most innovative companies on the planet. As a Quality Systems Technician, you will support and enhance our Quality Management System (QMS) while working closely with teams across the organization to drive continuous improvement.
Assist in overseeing the structure, improvement, and compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure QMS processes, procedures, forms, templates, and documentation remain accurate and up to date.
Help arrange and conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS standards.
Coordinate logistics and preparation for external audits when required.
Work with departments to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Follow up on improvement initiatives to ensure long-term effectiveness.
Support Process Owners across different departments and the Quality Systems Manager in monitoring and maintaining QMS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Participate in and lead training opportunities and team meetings related to quality systems and continuous improvement.
About You:
Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems and improving systems. You are comfortable collaborating across departments while maintaining the discipline and precision required to uphold high-quality standards.
Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:
Education:
A background in engineering or a related technical field would be considered an asset.
Experience:
One or more years working in a machine shop or manufacturing environment would be considered an asset.
Skills:
Strong critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
