Responsibilities will include:
Reporting into the QHSE Lead and supporting the wider business to achieve its objectives.
Oversight, planning and conducting internal audits, to maintain our ISO9001:2015 accreditation.
Drive continual improvement throughout the business.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance our operations.
Work alongside the Enterprise team to ensure new systems meet Quality Requirements and have the appropriate Process and Procedures to support.
Analyse current workflows and exercise the freedom to redesign or improve procedures/Processes.
Assist in the preparation and hosting of external audits to international standards and our future customer assessments.
Assisting in the Integration of our QMS, SMS and EMS to form our Business Management System.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to pass information clearly and accurately.
Have the ability to meet set deadlines and to understand when problems need to be referred upwards.
Have the ability to organise and present information clearly, concisely and accurately.
Strong leadership, motivational and mediation skills, and the ability to take initiative without guidance
Exemplary “internal” and “external” customer service and strong interpersonal skills
Adaptable - maintaining established process whilst initiating and driving change and efficiencies.

Qualifications and Experience:
Internal Auditor Trained ideally Lead Auditor Trained
Minimum HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Have experience in working within the requirements of NATO AQAP’s
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in marine manufacturing
Full UK Driving License
Strong problem-solving skills
