JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Quality Manager at Zivid, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our product development, production, and services. You will be responsible for overseeing quality systems, processes, and field quality, driving a culture of excellence, and making a significant impact on our reputation and success as we grow.
The role is characterized as an Operational Quality position, collaborating with company leadership in Management Reviews, and working with process owners to ensure execution according to our Quality Management System and continuously improve our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain our Quality Management System to meet industry standards and exceed customer expectations
Be Point Of Contact for customer audit and prepare our commercial team to respond to customer requests for information on quality system and processes
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in New Product Development and Introduction
Align with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 9001, APQP) and maintain necessary documentation
Active involvement in customer quality incident handling to ensure corrective and preventive measures and continuous improvement are systematic
Provide training and guidance to employees on quality standards, tools and methods, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Working internally on IQC on production and return materials, contribute to setting outbound quality requirements for Zivid suppliers
Ensure reporting of company level quality performance metrics and the actions and improvements
Review / track production performance and quality metrics with CM, operations and production test teams
Ensure suppliers deliver quality and compliant materials/services. Proactively develop supplier capability to prevent defects and reduce risk
Identify and mitigate quality-related risks that could impact the company's reputation or operations
Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Relevant experience, training and a track record
Familiarity of production quality standards IPC610, 620, ISO9001
Competence in data analysis and the ability to use data to drive quality improvements
Familiarity with Quality Tools and Methods like FMEA, Process Maps, Control Plans, Lean manufacturing are a plus
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Leadership abilities to drive cultural change and influence stakeholders
5 or more years of experience in quality management, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment
Ability to engage the organization and scale quality processes, avoiding centralized management and single points of failure
