Quality Manager – Manufacturing & Audits
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team and drive excellence across our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a strategic, detail‑oriented leader with deep experience in manufacturing quality systems, internal and external audits, and team leadership at a senior level.
You will oversee all aspects of quality performance, ensure compliance with industry standards, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior quality professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Plan, coordinate, and execute internal audits, supplier audits, and customer audits; ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Partner with manufacturing leadership to ensure product quality, process capability, and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Analyze quality data and trends to identify risks, drive root-cause investigations, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain certifications such as ISO 9001 (or other relevant standards) and ensure ongoing compliance.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and HSE to support operational excellence.
Lead quality reviews, prepare reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
Support new product introductions and process changes through robust quality planning and validation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of QMS frameworks, ISO standards, and audit methodologies.
Proven experience leading internal and external audits.
Demonstrated ability to lead senior-level staff and build high-performing teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Certifications such as CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma are considered strong assets.
