Job Description
We are one of the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. We design, manufacture and service systems and components and provide integrated solutions for commercial, regional, business and military aircraft, helicopters and other platforms. We are also a major supplier to international space programs.
We are seeking to fill a QMS Supervisor position at our Union, WV manufacturing facility. Heated products and de-icing equipment for military and commercial aerospace applications are manufactured at this location.
The successful candidate for this position will be required to understand and perform the following:
• devise and establish a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications;
• review customer requirements and make sure they are met;
• work with staff to establish quality improvements;
• set standards for quality as well as health and safety;
• make sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards;
• look at and develop ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency;
• define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
• set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures;
• monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing reports;
• make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them;
• use relevant quality tools and make sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business;

BA/BS Degree w/ 4 - 7+ years’ experience
MA/MS Degree w/ 2 - 5+ years’ experience
Applicant should possess the following: Ability to analyze information, report research results, promote process improvement, develop standards and manage processes. Should possess technical understanding, understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures and should support innovation. Experience should include; CAD, Quality Engineering, Operations Research.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Someone knowledgeable about EH&S procedures, someone who can work with customer audits, concentrate on AS9100 certification for the site, write procedures and work instructions. Someone who has served as Team Lead or Supervisor in past role.
