We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Management Systems Intern to join our QA & Regulatory Affairs team!

Our intern program offers students real-life hands-on experience, coaching, mentoring and networking opportunities. You will gain experience working cross-functionally with instrument/reagent engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams to help implement quality assurance processes to help strengthen the quality management system. You will have the opportunity to work with seasoned scientists/engineers and gain hands-on industry experience in a company that is developing ground-breaking genomics technology and products which will accelerate our understanding of life, biology, and disease.

This internship also offers graduates priority consideration for full-time hires in 2027.

• Work in a fast-paced cross-functional, technologically advanced corporate environment in an internship program focused on developing individuals capable of pursuing careers in biotech

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Currently a student in an accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or closely related disciplines

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.00 or higher

• Onsite work schedule, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) for at least 8 weeks during summer 2026

• Previous hands-on lab experience (school or industry) is strongly preferred

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment

• Great work ethic and an enthusiasm for problem-solving

• Good presentation, writing and communication skills

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

At Ultima Genomics, this internship pays between $22 and $25 per hour, and your hourly rate will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
