Job Description
The Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Management Specialist (m/f/d) to help ensure the reliability, consistency, and compliance of our unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) platforms.
In this role, you will drive quality processes across production, supply chain, and product validation — ensuring that our mission-critical robotic systems meet the highest standards demanded in defense and dual-use applications.
With a background ideally rooted in automotive, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing, you bring a structured approach and hands-on mentality suited for a fast-moving, engineering-driven environment.
YOUR TASKS
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and documentation (QMS)
• Conduct incoming inspections, in-process checks, and final acceptance tests
• Investigate quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and define corrective & preventive actions (8D, Ishikawa, etc.)
• Support production and engineering teams in improving product quality and reliability
• Manage supplier quality, including audits, evaluations, and component conformity checks
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, KPIs, and compliance records
• Support internal and external audits in alignment with industry standards (ISO 9001, defense regulations)
Your Profile:
• Completed vocational training or degree in quality management, engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
• Professional experience in quality assurance or production quality, ideally in automotive, robotics, or high-tech manufacturing
• Familiarity with QMS standards (ISO 9001 or similar), APQP, PPAP, FMEA is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; hands-on approach in a production environment
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup setting
• Structured, precise, and reliable working style
• German language proficiency (minimum B1), English skills (minimum A2)
