Quality Lab Technician

We are seeking a lab technician to evaluate Sika products, raw materials and intermediates for conformance to Sika specifications and comply with all Quality Assurance standards that are in place.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate Sika products, raw materials, and intermediates for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform daily product approvals, including FPY / OAC and extended performance testing.
• Conduct production line inspections and spot checks as needed.
• Report and record test results promptly, maintaining accurate databases and generating statistical analyses using SAP and Excel.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely reporting and prevent shipping of non-conforming products.
• Create and manage Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain and calibrate lab instruments, ensuring proper inventory of lab supplies and chemicals.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement in laboratory processes, specifications, and procedures.
• Stay current with new automation, technology, and software relevant to the role.
• Monitor accuracy and completeness of process instructions and quality checks, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Salary range:  $25.00 to $27.00 hourly; based on education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant. 

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities to complete priorities in a timely manner.
• Strong customer and quality focus.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• 3+ years hand-on experiences in a laboratory environment or 3+ years QA/QC experience.
• ASTM/ISO experience
