About the role

The purpose of this role is to perform quality control inspections on the production floor to ensure products, production processes, and documentation meet required procedures. The successful candidate serves as the first-line point of contact for in-line Quality queries, accurately documenting results and supporting key functions such as line clearance, label approval, and batch documentation checks. This specific position is night shift only (10PM to 6AM).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform start-up and in-process inspections, including label approval, control, and reconciliation.
• Perform inspections and testing of finished products, components, and incoming materials for final release while accurately documenting results.
• Generate NCMR and Quality Alerts documentation, coordinate investigations, and work with quality engineers to complete testing for Complaints, CAPA, SCARs, and NCRs.
•  Manage the issuance of labels and batch records for scheduled orders, ensuring operators receive the correct revisions and quantities to begin manufacturing.
• Support sterilization load inspection and perform environmental monitoring as per established procedures.
• Work closely with various functions to complete testing and documentation for validation, engineering change, and new product introduction projects.
• Support the final release process for outbound shipments by conducting pallet inspections, performing batch record reconciliation, and generating compliant shipping documentation.

Required

• Leaving Cert or equivalent with good laboratory and analytical skills.
• Demonstrable organizational and problem-solving skills with good technical writing abilities.
• Adaptive and capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Skills you need to succeed

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow oral and written directions regarding testing and reporting.
• Knowledge of the Medical Device manufacturing environment, including GMP/GDP, and experience in a medical device quality role.
