Job Summary: Inspects, audits and reports on materials, products and documentation using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with Southwest Microwave - MPD quality standards.
Job Duties: Minimum job duties include the following.
· Perform required inspection of piece parts and/or final assemblies.
· Able to read blue prints.
· Record inspection results as directed.
· Able to communicate and discuss inspection results with MPD Engineering and leadership.
· Demonstrate inspection competency using approved tooling and equipment.
· Use computer for data input into ERP system and to access various Inspection procedures.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience: One (1) year previous inspection or related work experience with precision electromechanical parts preferred. Able to read, understand, and apply information contained in workmanship standards and other documents. Must possess basic computer skills.
Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical demands: Able to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Able to perform repetitive work, and have the ability to use a microscope and be able to hold small hand tools. Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
