Job Title: Quality Inspector – Automotive Manufacturing
Shift: 1st – Hours 6:00am – 6:00pm
2nd – Hours 6:00pm – 6:00am
Location: Montgomery, AL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends when needed
PAY RATE: $17.00/hr

Job Summary
Quality Inspectors are responsible for a wide range of hands-on duties including sorting, inspection and data capture. They work directly with customers to resolve and prevent quality issues, reinforcing PPG QUALITY’S commitment to superior solutions. Work environments vary from yard sorts, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, etc. – whatever the customer needs. Inspectors must be flexible with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail. The success of our organization depends on the dedication of our team members.
Key Responsibilities
Perform sorting, inspection, and basic production tasks
Accurately enter data and maintain records
Follow all written instructions, policies, and operational rules
Keep work area clean and organized
Operate inspection tools, measurement devices, and test equipment – training available
Fulfill additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Adaptable to changing environments – lineside or yard
Positive attitude and self-driven work ethic
Flexible to work overtime as needed
