Job Summary
Act as the primary on-site HP Supply Chain Quality representative at the partner’s manufacturing facility in Riyadh. This role is responsible for managing production quality, driving process optimization, and collaborating with the supplier to meet HP’s quality and shipment targets.
Responsibilities
• On-site Factory Management: Lead the quality oversight of System Assembly, Test (including Run-In), and Packaging processes at the supplier's site.
• Quality Governance: Monitor real-time production quality to ensure all outputs strictly adhere to HP’s standards and delivery schedules.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements and optimization initiatives within the manufacturing line to improve yield and operational efficiency.
• Issue Resolution & RCA: Conduct deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for technical failures; provide and implement timely corrective actions for customer complaints or line issues.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with external suppliers and internal departments to resolve quality roadblocks and ensure a smooth production flow.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in quality assurance, reliability, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
Key Qualifications
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Computer Hardware and Software architecture; familiar with full-cycle computer manufacturing processes.
• Quality Toolkit: Proficient in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., CAPA, 8D, Six Sigma).
• Communication: Proven ability to influence and collaborate with external partners to achieve quality excellence.
