• Own assigned QE work areas and consistently meet KPIs to ensure new products meet quality expectations
• Manage material quality during the New Product Implementation (NPI) process and provide feedback to the SQE team or suppliers to resolve issues.
• Oversee finished goods quality during reliability testing.
• Ensure the quality of new products developed or transferred to the site.
• Monitor yield and pass rates to drive continuous improvement.
• Support or review product design activities.
• Follow up on document release, material readiness, tooling/jig preparation, packaging design, and new product build process setup.
• Develop process flow and FMEA for new NPIs.
• Follow up on SMT, wave soldering, assembly, and testing processes.
• Work with R&D to resolve build issues, document solutions in DFM, and ensure closure.
• Supervise production of final product versions and monitor early‑stage performance until stable for mass production.
• Report development and rollout progress to senior management.
• Participate in corrective action requests, root cause analysis, and problem‑solving activities related to project issues.
• Apply statistical techniques such as SPC and Gauge R&R.
• Tertiary education
• Have at least 4 years of electronics manufacturing experience.
• Able to communicate fluently in English.
• Familiar with the ISO series system.
• Familiarity with the implementation of the IPC-610 class 2, to meet production requirements.
• Participated in the training of SPC/ISO/Lean requirements
• Experience working with projects in APQP/PPAP environment is preferred, but not essential.
