Quality Engineer (m/w/d)

Main objectives:

• Quality support during the development phase Hardware/Firmware/Software
• Continuous product improvement Hardware/Firmware/Software
• Continuous improvement of processes and the management system
• Assuring product quality along the supply chain
• Complaint management
• Implement proper corrective and preventive measures
• Reduce field returns

Responsibilities:

• Collect details to complaints/field returns
• Align all relevant departments and schedule action items
• Provide or create root cause analysis (depending on nature of the root cause)
• Provide 8D reports
• Manage sample collection
• Align replacement parts with Planning Dpt and Logistic
• Execute supplier audits
• Continuous improvement of product quality, process efficiency and the existing management system

Education

• Technical degree in the field of electronics/communications engineering (HTL, FH, TU)

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing company or testing department desired
• Experience in designing internal processes and improving management systems
• Good understanding of test and manufacturing processes for electronic devices

Skills/Abilities

• Fluent German and good knowledge of English
• Ability to work in a team
• Independent and solution-oriented working style

A minimum basic salary of EUR 3.843 gross per month for full-time employment applies to the advertised position with a willingness to pay depending on the actual qualifications.
