• Qualification and development of new and existing suppliers as well as their support in all relevant quality and process topics
• Coordination of sampling contents as well as evaluation and approval of initial samples and in the case of changes to series parts
• Use of audits for supplier development
• Preparation and execution of supplier audits in coordination with the purchasing department
• Measures and tracking of action plans.
• Handling of supplier part complaints:
• Risk assessment (as part of QRQC) Initiation and monitoring of immediate actions and long term actions in case of supplier quality deviations.
• Triggering of supplier complaints and evaluation of 8D reports with regard to effectiveness of measures at the supplier's site
• Coordination of sorting actions in case of supplier defects
• Tracking and documentation of complaint costs
• Optimization of procedures/processes for efficient handling and cost savings
• Support in supplier evaluation
• Support in the incoming goods inspection / approval process / production process
Requirements:
• Education in the technical area, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering with good knowledge of the other
• Further education as quality engineer
• Relevant professional experience in supplier development (3+ years)
• Experience in conducting process-oriented supplier audits Auditor training is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of common quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5W)
• Competent in consulting
• High level of personal responsibility, social competence and a healthy assertiveness.
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working, strong negotiation skills and ability to deal with conflicts.
• Willingness to travel (internationally)
• Good knowledge of Czech and English, both written and spoken (other languages an advantage)
