LVL is a manufacturer of high-quality animal health products from various therapeutic categories including antibiotics, vitamins, minerals, anticoccidials, and anthelmintics for the treatment of ruminants, equine, poultry, pigs, and companion animals.
Responsibilities
• Perform QC testing on incoming raw materials to support release into inventory.
• Undertake the analysis of, intermediate bulks, and finished products, and stability of solid and liquid dosage forms.
• Document testing activities and results accurately following good documentation practices to ensure adherence to requirements.
• Identify and support resolution of technical problems.
• Ensure lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Conduct regular calibration/verification of laboratory equipment such as analytical balance.
• In addition to the core responsibilities listed above, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties on an ad-hoc basis.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a life science (Chemistry, Biology) or related field.
• 1-2 years in a general laboratory environment performing analyses in the areas of chemistry, biochemistry, or associated areas of life sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understands and can apply GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Ability to implement analytical chromatography techniques and troubleshooting including HPLC.
