We are currently seeking an experienced and self motivated Quality Control Manager - NAVFAC experience for a project needs in Barstow, CA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This is a challenging position that requires a strong work ethic and technical skills.
Responsibilities ·
• Must be able to create a quality management plan for the project assigned. ·
• Must be have knowledge of the overall quality management of each project assigned. · Must be able to use and understand the NAVFAC
• Hold meetings with all stakeholders, as needed, to define QC policies and procedures related to the project
• Work with co-workers and subcontractors to maintain quality control throughout the project life cycle
• Maintain a testing plan and log
• Lead and evaluate employee and sub-contractor performance
• Remove individuals whose work does not comply with contract plan and specifications
• Market Positioning
• Provide leadership to the business unit to capitalize on market strategies for expanding services, supply chain, equipment, and subcontractor/teaming collaboration for market expansion.
• Must be able to write quality plans and AHA.
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree, Equivalent or 10 years in similar position.
• QCS, MS Office Programs, RMS
• Government Contracting / US Army Corps of Engineers.
• Experience with the Army Corps of Engineers and Federal contracting is highly desired.
• EPA and/or USACE Construction/Environmental experience
• Proficient with computer software used in the construction field
• Ability to stay at remote locations for long periods of time
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed for projects
• CQC must provide copies of the certificate of completion for USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors course identifying date completed
• University Degree CQMC-USACE Construction Quality Management ertification
• OSHA-10/30 or EM385 Certificate, MS Project/ Primavera Experience (3 years), Project Management supporting construction projects (4 years), Contract/Subcontract Management (4 years).
