Position Overview
ATTUF is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee and manage all aspects of quality, compliance, and performance improvement across programs and services. This role is critical in ensuring that organizational operations meet regulatory standards, internal policies, and best practices.
The Quality Assurance Specialist will collaborate with leadership, program staff, and external partners to monitor service delivery, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance overall quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems
Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (including healthcare and human services standards where applicable)
Conduct routine audits, reviews, and internal inspections of programs and documentation
Track and analyze performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
Lead and support Plan of Correction (POC) development and implementation
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic systems (EHR or similar platforms)
Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, compliance requirements, and best practices
Collaborate with HR and leadership to support staff performance improvement initiatives
Prepare reports for leadership, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
Investigate incidents, complaints, and non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
Maintain readiness for audits, surveys, and licensing review
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or regulatory oversight
Experience in healthcare, home health, behavioral health, or human services strongly preferred
Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., state licensing, Medicaid, PASA, or similar frameworks)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems (EHR)
Preferred Skills
Experience with audits, accreditation processes, or survey readiness
Familiarity with Plan of Correction (POC) processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
