Ready to take your career to the next level? Frima is looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to manage a team on one of our biggest projects!
We are Frima, a video game development studio based in Quebec City and Montreal for over 20 years, bringing together hundreds of passionate talents united by a single ambition: to create unforgettable games across all platforms.

What your weeks are going to look like
• Daily Scrum-style meetings with the project development team;
• Close collaboration with other departments (design, art, production) to ensure optimal planning of tests for the various components;
• Individual follow-up meetings with your team members to ensure their engagement and provide mentorship through continuous feedback;
• Overseeing all aspects of quality assurance for your project, including establishing parameters, applying best practices, and developing new tools and processes;
• Assigning tasks among your project team members;
• Collaborating with the Quality Assurance Manager to define and manage the project schedule, plan resources within your team, and assess quality assurance timelines and risks;
• Coordinating quality assurance operations with external partners.
What we're looking for
• College diploma (DEC) in a relevant field. A combination of experience and education deemed equivalent may be considered;
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in quality assurance in the video game industry;
• Experience as a quality assurance lead;
• Experience working on a mobile game project;
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of different game types and platforms, as well as the stages involved in game development;
• Strong knowledge of Jira;
• Strong technical knowledge of consoles and manufacturer requirements (a significant asset);
• Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written). English skills are required to perform the job, as we collaborate with English-speaking partners.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
