About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our data warehouse, ETL pipelines, and BI reporting systems. This role is hands-on and data-focused, requiring strong PostgreSQL skills, deep understanding of data validation, and exposure to Python-based automation.
You will work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and BI teams to deliver trusted, high-quality data for analytics and decision-making.

What You’ll Do:
• Perform data warehouse testing to validate schemas, tables, views, and aggregations.
• Execute complex PostgreSQL queries to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Test ETL/ELT pipelines, including full loads, incremental loads, and data backfills.
• Perform source-to-target data reconciliation and transformation validation.
• Validate BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs against underlying warehouse data.
• Identify data defects, perform root-cause analysis, and verify fixes.
• Build and maintain Python-based automation for data validation and regression testing (nice to have).
• Document test cases, validation logic, and test results.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams throughout the development lifecycle.

• PostgreSQL (advanced SQL, joins, CTEs, window functions)

• Data quality checks & defect analysis
• Python scripting for automation (nice to have)

What We’re Looking For:
• 3–5+ years of experience in data warehouse, ETL, or BI testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and complex SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts (facts, dimensions, transformations).
• Experience validating ETL pipelines and BI reports.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with data engineers and BI teams.
