Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong experience in Manual and automation tests. This role will focus on building and maintaining automated test suites, ensuring platform stability, and supporting development workflows across backend (Laravel) and frontend (VueJS) components.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about automation, highly detail-oriented, and capable of contributing to a modern, fast-moving engineering environment using tools like Cursor and Git.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated tests using PHP, PHPUnit, or Selenium.
• Automate backend (Laravel) and frontend (VueJS) test scenarios.
• Create and update test plans, cases, and documentation.
• Run automated and selective manual tests for functional and regression coverage.
• Validate data and workflows using MySQL queries.
• Log, track, and verify defects in collaboration with developers.
• Participate in sprint activities including estimations and acceptance criteria reviews.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automated tests in CI pipelines.
• Improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and tooling.
• Use Cursor and AI-assisted tools to accelerate test development

Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in test automation.
• Previous manual testing experience.

• Experience building automation for backend (Laravel) and frontend (VueJS) systems.

• Strong understanding of MySQL and database validation.

• High level of English communication skills (written and spoken).

• Proficient in Git, including branching, pull requests, and worktrees.

• Experience using Cursor or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Must be located in Latam.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience testing with Artificial Intelligence–assisted tools.
• Familiarity with ClickUp for documentation and task management.
• Experience with PHPUnit, API testing, performance testing, or CI environments.
