Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Assistant Manager

Who we are looking for:

Hybrid QA Automation Engineer is responsible to develop and maintain new and existing Testing automation frameworks. Global Link is a team of engineers that work passionately to apply cutting edge advances in software to solve real-world challenges in Financial Services Industry. This position would involve continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in test regression, test coverage and automation of newly implemented functionality, and development of tools to enable QA efficiencies. The Automation engineer will also work closely with Software Developers & Product Owners to form and follow quality procedures, standards and specifications ensuring they are met and deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.

As QA Automation Engineer you will:

• Maintain/Improve existing UI, Server-Side and Integration testing frameworks/scripts.
• Strong knowledge on Selenium, Playwright with Java and API testing.
• Better understanding of Automation Objects and Integrations across various platforms/applications etc.
• Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and identify performance tuning areas to assess product quality.
• Individual contributor exploring opportunities to improve performance and suggest/articulate the areas of improvements importance/advantages to management.
• Integrate with SCM infrastructure to establish a continuous build and test cycle using CICD tools.
• Comfortable working on Linux/Windows environment(s) and Hybrid infrastructure models.
• Establish processes and tools set to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.
• Peer review to provide feedback and to make sure the test scripts are flaw-less.

Core/Must have skills:

• Strong knowledge in Java/Selenium/Playwright and Core Java with Data Structures.
• Test automation using BDD/Cucumber/TestNG combined with strong hands-on experience with Java with Selenium. Especially working experience in WebDriver.IO
• Understanding of web technologies, including web services, web application services and RESTful APIs.
• Sound knowledge and working experience in STLC and SDLC integration models.
• Strong QA analytical and reasoning skills with pro-active approach towards problem solving.
• Clear & crisp communication and commitment towards deliverables
• Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
