Job Summary: The Quality Assurance and Technical Documentation Specialist will play a pivotal role in safeguarding product quality while ensuring our technical content is accurate, accessible, and user-centric. This hybrid role demands a proactive approach to testing, defect management, and process improvement, coupled with a talent for clear, organized, and engaging technical writing. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and end-users, fostering excellence across both quality and documentation domains.

Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities: 

 

1.  Quality Assurance: 

Design, implement, and continually improve comprehensive QA processes and standards. 

Execute various testing methodologies—including functional, regression, and performance testing—to verify product integrity. 

Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using different testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, etc.). 

Detect, document, prioritize, and track defects, collaborating closely with developers and product teams to facilitate swift resolution. 

Analyze test outcomes, generate detailed reports, and recommend improvements to enhance overall product quality and user satisfaction. 

Participate in peer reviews of designs and code to uphold quality benchmarks and best practices. 

 

2.  Technical Documentation: 

Develop, update, and maintain detailed technical materials such as user manuals, installation guides, API docs, and FAQs. 

Collaborate with technical, product, and customer support teams to gather comprehensive information and ensure accuracy. 

Ensure all documentation adheres to style guides and is presented in a clear, logical, and user-friendly manner. 

Create templates and standards to ensure consistency, accessibility, and high-quality content. 

Contribute to the development of training materials, internal guides, and onboarding documentation. 

 

 3.  Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication: 

Act as a liaison between engineering, product management, and end-users to facilitate effective communication of technical details. 

Provide training and mentorship on QA strategies and documentation standards. 

Prepare reports and present insights to stakeholders, supporting continuous improvement initiatives. 

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Communication, or a relevant field. 

Proven experience in quality assurance/testing and creating technical documentation. 

Deep understanding of QA methodologies, test automation tools, and defect tracking systems. 

Excellent technical writing, editing, and English communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision. 

Proficiency with documentation tools such as Asana, Github, MKDocs, Docusaurus, or similar platforms. 

Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development practices. 

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced environments. 

Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring and embracing new tools, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions to support quality.
