Essential Job Functions
Reviews and assesses carrier qualifications, including insurance certificates, safety ratings, operating authority, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Verifies and maintains accurate carrier documents, such as permits, licenses, and insurance, to ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
Accurately inputs and updates carrier information and documentation in our database systems.
Approves or rejects carriers based on qualifications.
Notifies carriers of pending expiration of insurance or contracts.
Handles telephone traffic in order to maximize effective use of broker-carrier truck availability.
Handles check calls and advance requests from drivers and dispatchers in accordance with established policy.
Requirements
One year of customer service experience
Knowledge and experience with operating a computer, calculator, and other general office equipment.
Use professional and clear verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced, changing environment and maintain a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
High School Diploma or equivalent
