ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY :

As part of its involvement in the ITER project, IDOM Nuclear Services is recruiting a Variation Engineer. Within our company, your main tasks will be as follows:

Assessing the impact reports of variations submitted by the client and proposals issued by the contractor, ensuring their technical and contractual compliance.
Oversee the change management process, from initial analysis to issuing instructions, ensuring coordination with the client and stakeholders.
Assist the client in negotiations related to contract modifications and actively contribute to the processing of claims.
Produce monthly monitoring reports, variation status reports, and interim payment certificates (IPCs), ensuring the reliability of the data.
Ensure the proper application of quality procedures in the context of modifications and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

ABOUT YOU :

You have an engineering degree or a master's degree in electrical engineering, HVAC, I&C, or general engineering, and at least three years of experience in the construction industry, ideally on complex or high-value projects (> €20 million).

You have solid technical knowledge of civil engineering, reinforced concrete and metal structures, as well as HVAC systems, piping, fire protection/detection, compressed air, water, and gas.

Your expertise as a quantity surveyor allows you to rigorously monitor costs, invoicing, and budget control. Experience in an international environment and proficiency in FIDIC contracts would be highly appreciated.

As a team player, you are proactive, reliable, and committed to your responsibilities. You communicate fluently in English and French, and proficiency in a third language would be highly valued.
