Job Description:
QlikSense Developers/Admin are information technology experts responsible for extracting data from various sources, using the QlikSense script editor, managing QlickSense Servers, designing dashboards, and creating various QlickSense solutions for a company's clients.The person is responsible for handling the following day-to-day activities which are essential to deliver metrics on a timely basis and ensuring the validity of the same to satisfy highly demanding business needs. 
Responsibilities:• Created data queries and reports using WellView, Qliksense, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, SSRS, and Excel. Created custom queries/reports designed for quality verification and information sharing.

• Round the clock monitoring of Jobs that are running in production and taking necessary action when there are issues. 

• Implementation of Production Changes during the scheduled days and providing post-production support 

• Performance tuning of dashboards was carried out to limit the response time to well under 5 seconCalculation and defining server sizing for optimal performance of Qliksense dashboards. 

• Worked with Qliksense 9.x, upgrade to 10.x, SQL Server 2008, Excel files, flat files. 

• Handling of adhoc reporting and feed requests from production and ensuring to provide monthly and quarterly feeds to finance and Internal audit teams 

• Checking on any long running production jobs and doing any performance tuning activities to ensure jobs are moving faster. 

• Gathering source system maintenance/downtimes during weekends and informing to business about metrics impact 

• Ensuring on-time delivery of metrics, outbound feeds, etc. 

• Verifying and making sure that Microsoft Analysis services cubes are processed properly and reports are published properly in the reporting environment 

• Working with Database Administrators for any DB related issues 

• Analyzing problems, determining root cause, reporting on problem status, etc., for network and desktop (application hardware and software) issues 

• IR Handling for all data marts – ensuring that all assigned IRs are attended and resolved to customer satisfaction in a timely manner 

• Activities associated with incident analysis, resolution and tracking, problem-related task forces, developing and running of utilities and recoveries 

• Analyzing and performance tuning of daily running jobs in production. Re-design & develop the jobs when there is a better way of getting the things done. 

Required Skills: 
• Degree with 5+ years of professional experience working in building DataWarehouse Applications 

• 5+ years of development experience with a minimum of 4 years in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence 

• 5+ years of strong experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and deployment of ETL jobs 

• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL server, Analysis Services(Cubes), Integration Services & reporting services experience 

• 3+ years of strong experience using Teradata. 

• 3+ years of experience with UNIX shell scripting(Ksh/Csh) 

• Experience in complete life cycle implementation of an Enterprise Data Warehouse 

• Good understanding of Ralph Kimball Data Warehouse methodologies and knowledge on the various data design models like Star schema and Snowflake models 

• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Team player with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of development process 

• 2+ years of experience in Production Support and code migration from different environments to Production 

Desired Skills: 
• Working experience in Telecom Data Warehouse 

• Experience in SharePoint excel services 

• Working experience with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
