Qlik consultant

This role will be involved in driving the entire development lifecycle of a robust Qlik Sense analytics solution. You will partner with the business stakeholders to gather requirements and create complex data visualisations that will help solve critical business questions. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working extensively to build visualisations and dashboards in Qlik Sense from initial design to deployment

Responsibility breakdown

• Work closely with customers to understand their business requirements and challenges around data analytics
• Translate these requirements into a technical solution making use of Qlik
• Analyse and define tasks, data flows and dependencies necessary to scope and deliver complex technical projects
• Develop and maintain advanced analytics and other BI solutions using the full suite of Qlik products
• Develop and deliver knowledge transfer and training to the client
• Strengthen our internal consultant network by helping solve challenges that other consultants present to the group
• Contribute to sales work by spotting opportunities for future work and building, modifying, and presenting demos
• Work on R&D side projects individually or as part of a team

What we’re looking for in our applicants

• At least 1+ years of experience as a hands-on Qlik developer (either Qlik Sense or QlikView)
• Extensive experience with complex custom developed visualizations in Qlik
• Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices using Qlik
• Experience working with a relational database (SQL, Oracle, etc.) a plus
• Data modelling, dimensional modelling, and working with large datasets a plus
• Experience working with business teams to translate functional requirements into technical requirements
