As part of our growing operations, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QHSE Officer to join our QHSE Compliance & ESG Department. The successful candidate will report directly to the QHSE Compliance & ESG Manager and will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with international standards, applicable legislation, and QHSE requirements.
Role Overview:
The QHSE Officer plays a key role in supporting the effective operation and continuous improvement of the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS). The position contributes to ensuring alignment with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures, while promoting a strong culture of health & safety, environmental responsibility, and quality across the organization.
The role involves monitoring compliance, supporting internal and external audits, managing non-conformities and incidents, and collaborating with operational departments to ensure the effective implementation of QHSE processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation and monitoring of ISO Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable standards)
• Monitor compliance with QHSE legal and regulatory requirements
• Participate in internal audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
• Record, investigate, and track non-conformities, incidents, and observations
• Support the management and updating of QHSE documentation (procedures, work instructions, forms)
• Collect and analyze QHSE data (KPIs, environmental data, incidents, performance indicators)
• Assist in external audits, including certification bodies, clients, and regulatory authorities
• Collaborate with operational departments to ensure proper implementation of QHSE procedures and controls
• Support the delivery of QHSE training and awareness initiatives for employees
• Assist in the implementation of Health & Safety and Environmental Management programs
• Monitor improvement actions and contribute to reporting towards Management
Requirements:
Professional Experience
At least 2 years of experience in ISO Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Experience in internal audits and non-conformity management will be considered an asset.
Academic Background & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
Languages & Technical Capabilities
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and document/data management systems.
Knowledge & Skills
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks, track actions, and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
