QC Supervisor - Coating & Painting

Intertek is currently looking for a QC Supervisor specializing in coating and painting to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality of coating and painting operations in various industrial sectors, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise team members engaged in coating and painting activities.
• Conduct inspections of surface preparation, coating application, and painting processes to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Develop and implement Quality Control Plans for coating and painting operations.
• Perform routine checks, tests, and analyses to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Document and maintain inspection records, nonconformance reports, and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate quality assessments.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices and safety protocols.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a QC supervisory role focusing on coating and painting.
• Strong understanding of coating systems, application methods, and inspection standards.
• Relevant certifications in coating inspection (e.g., NACE, SSPC) are highly desirable.
• Experience in quality management and performance improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using quality assurance tools and software for documentation and reporting.
