Job Title: QA Test Engineer (Automation testing)

Work Location: Bangalore

Shift timings: 8.00am to 5.00pm OR 12.00pm to 9.00pm IST

Work mode: Hybrid - 3 Days office

 

Required Skills: Automation testing, Agile methodologies, Fluent with test automation, C#, Postman, Selenium, POP, Web services testing, SQL.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• 3-5 Years of experience in Automation and Manual Testing
• Translate test cases to automated tests using C#, Javascript for GUI / API tests.
• Ability to design and contribute to test automation frameworks. POP, evaluate tools, etc.
• Ability to participate in reviews and contribute to framework maintenance.
• Proficient in SOA, microservices, client server architecture testing. Good understand of progressive web app testing.  
• Should be proactive in working for both manual and automation testing.
• Should have good understanding of web-based architecture and should manage to debug any web or server error.
• Understanding of functional, Database, Sanity, Functional, End-to-End integration and Regression testing independently adhering to SCRUM guidelines.
• Perform root cause analysis of script failures/logged Bugs.
• Submit and track automation identified defects.
• Identify automatable test cases in existing test suite and help in planning for automation.
• Test data setup & Test execution of the automated Test cases.
• Provide effective communication to QA Manager/Lead regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to plan.
• Contribute to delivery in accordance with project scope/delivery dates.
• Adhere to the test strategies and test plans to ensure that product delivered is of high quality.
• Work collaboratively with all stakeholders like Developers, QA, Project Manager, BA and onsite teams for successful test coverage and quality.
• Escalate and follow-up in a timely manner about all blocking issues and issue deviation from SOP’s etc.
• Very good knowledge in SDLC and STLC process.

Technical knowledge:

• Solid knowledge in automation testing concepts, object oriented programming.
• Hands on in C# programming.
• Experience in testing web services, REST APIs.
• Hand-on experience in Services testing tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN.
• Good knowledge on java scripting.
• Good exposure to mobile testing (PWA).
• Strong understanding of SQA methodologies
• Good knowledge in Database & SQL. Ability to create & mine data using SQL queries
• Experience in any automation tools like Selenium, Protractor, Playwright etc.
• Exposure to create Automation framework like Modular, BDD, POM etc.
• Knowledge and experience in Azure Devops.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in agile environment.
• Experience in Test data setup across multiple modules & ability to understand the data dependencies.
• Should have good knowledge of Defect Management process.
• Knowledge in testing web services is desirable.
