Position: QA Specialist

Overview: As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing processes. You will collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements, develop test plans, and execute test cases, all aimed at maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
• Create and execute detailed test cases to validate functionality and performance of software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool.
• Collaborate with development teams to communicate issues and facilitate timely resolutions.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected by changes.
• Provide feedback on software usability and user experience, ensuring end-user satisfaction.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
• Document test results and prepare test summary reports for stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience in manual testing; familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Outstanding attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
