QA Specialist / Functional Testing

Overview: We are looking for a skilled QA Specialist with a strong background in functional testing to join our team at Talent Worx. In this role, you will ensure the quality of software applications through thorough testing and validation of the functional requirements. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be vital in identifying issues and providing feedback to the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute functional test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to understand application functionality and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues in a defect management tool.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected by new changes.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide input for testability and quality improvement.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, issues, and results to stakeholders.

Requirements:
Key Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on functional testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Experience with test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test automation frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
