At OptiSigns, we are looking for a QA - Software / Device Manager who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software and hardware solutions. This position will involve overseeing the QA processes for both software applications and hardware devices, ensuring that all products meet the high standards expected by our customers.
As part of the QA team, you will develop and implement testing strategies, manage the QA team, and collaborate closely with the development and product management teams to achieve quality excellence. You will also be responsible for defining quality metrics and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement QA strategies for software applications and hardware devices.
• Oversee the QA team's activities, ensuring effective testing processes are followed.
• Manage the testing lifecycle, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and quality issues.
• Establish quality metrics and reporting to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in QA.
• Conduct training and mentorship for QA team members.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software and hardware QA, with a mix of both.
• Able to manage 4-5 junior QA engineers
• Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing testing processes.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
