Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead to ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and technical excellence across our Modular Services division. Working across design, production, testing, and installation phases, this role owns the quality framework for Modular Power Pods and associated LV/MV electrical assemblies, ensuring all processes, documentation and outputs meet regulatory and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Leadership & Compliance

• Lead the QA/QC function for all Modular Services projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, inspection plans, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure modular solutions meet regulatory, technical, and client specifications relating to safety, build integrity, and electrical performance.

Inspection, Testing & Documentation

• Oversee quality inspections at all stages of production, including design reviews, assembly, FAT, and site activities.
• Manage test documentation, quality records, and traceability requirements across the full product lifecycle.

Audit, Non‑Conformance & Continuous Improvement

• Lead internal quality audits, non‑conformance investigations, and root‑cause analysis activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across modular build processes, electrical testing, and assembly workflows.
• Manage and maintain the RCA/NCR process with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:
Experience & Skills Required

• Strong background in QA/QC within modular construction, LV/MV electrical systems, switchgear, Power pods/E house and Modular services.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, BIM models, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Highly organised, detail‑driven, and able to lead cross‑functional quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related technical discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
• Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk products, and BIM environments is advantageous.
• Quality management or auditing certifications (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CQI) are desirable.
