Position Overview

We are hiring for the position of QA/QC Head for multiple upcoming projects across Pan India. This role involves leading and managing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in establishing and implementing QA/QC systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving excellence in construction practices. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC policies, procedures, and plans for large infrastructure projects. 
• Lead the QA/QC team to ensure effective implementation of quality measures across all project sites. 
• Act as the primary point of contact for all QA/QC-related matters, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. 
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to monitor adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement. 
• Ensure that all materials, equipment, and construction processes meet the required quality benchmarks.
• Supervise the testing and inspection of materials, equipment, and construction works to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications. 
• Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection test plans (ITPs), material submittals, and method statements. 
• Monitor and verify the quality of work performed by contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards, such as ISO 9001, NBC, and IS codes. 
• Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes. 
• Investigate quality-related issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with QA/QC policies and procedures. 
• Prepare and present detailed quality reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), audit findings, and improvement plans. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (mandatory). 
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or Construction Management (preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in QA/QC for large-scale infrastructure projects, such as airports, shopping malls, or commercial complexes. 
• Proven experience in project supervision and construction management with a focus on quality assurance and control.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, standards, and best practices in construction. 
• Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques. 
• Familiarity with international quality certifications, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent. 
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and testing procedures.

• Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent). 
• Experience in managing QA/QC for live environments, such as operational airports or malls. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage on-site teams and contractors.
