QA Lead, Textile (China)

Report to: International QA Director 

Objectives: 

• Quality Enhancement work, vendor/factory to meet O5 quality standard and brand(s) requirements 
• Work closely with Regional QA/QC, be an accountable and responsible member of O5 quality team 
• Frequent Travel

Responsibilities: 

• Review all O5 orders, WIP, encyclopedia to arrange travel plan 
• Review factory's capabilities and report to O5 New Year Team and Quality Director 
• Communicate with vendor/factory to enhance their production process to for better quality level 
• Analyze inspection data to work with related vendor/factory for improvement plans
• Involved in "Troubling Shooting", follow up on quality issues called out with regional QA/QC team to ensure improvement work with right execution 
• Provide technical advice on process control and quality improvement during factory visits 
• Key program production management--arrange visit for trouble shooting and how to solve the problems at early stage 
• Investigate quality rejection root cause with vendor/factory; follow up with CAP to work out quality improvement in correct ways. Work with factory teams and QE teams for completion 
• Review production plans with vendor/factory to ensure delivery status; Call out to O5 New York Team if there is any delivery slide 
• Work with vendor/factory QA/QC team to minimize defects by explaining O5 quality requirements 
• Ensure smooth communication in a timely manner with a sense of priority of reporting back to all O5 Teams 
• Ensure O5 QA/QE/QC; understand O5 ethics policies 

 

• At least 5-10 years of solid QA experience gained in multinational brands or vendors, especially in textile related sectors 
• Solid experience in working with leading US retailers, such as Costco, Sam's, Walmart, Target 
• Ability to travel for 80% of time 
• Fluent English and Chinese communications, written and spoken.
