Your Role:
As QA Lead, you will own the quality assurance process for our upcoming survival-to-city-builder RPG, Solid River.
You will build and oversee the QA structure, coordinate internal and external testers, and ensure that every feature and system meets our technical and gameplay standards.

You will collaborate directly with design, engineering, and production teams, helping to shape our testing strategy and drive the game toward release-quality polish.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the QA process across all game systems and development phases
• Coordinate and mentor our QA student testers and part-time contributors
• Build structured test plans and regression strategies for new features and updates
• Playtest builds to uncover bugs, inconsistencies, and gameplay issues
• Track and document issues clearly and efficiently in our internal QA tools
• Verify bug fixes and ensure stable builds before internal playtests and milestones
• Communicate quality risks and priorities to the development and production teams
• Continuously improve QA workflows, tools, and communication channels

Requirements:
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Clear and concise communication skills in English (written and verbal), German is a plus
• Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5 or strong motivation to learn it
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira
• Passion for survival, RPG, or city-building games
• Ability to work on-site in Munich and collaborate closely with the core dev team
