About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Senior QA Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and low-risk releases by detecting defects early, managing risks, and ensuring efficient and comprehensive testing. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Key Responsibilities:

Test Case Management:

Develop comprehensive test cases with adequate coverage, including boundary and equivalence tests

Ensure test cases are well-documented and designed for efficiency

Maintain a regression library of test cases, adding new ones and removing obsolete ones as needed

Regression Testing:

Track and report the time required for regression tests, noting any significant changes

Prioritize test cases based on release changes, focusing on high-priority tests

Create test inputs that adequately cover the range of feature inputs

Recommend automated tests for regression coverage based on risk assessment

Feature Testing:

Perform timely feature testing and update Jira accordingly

Prepare testing prerequisites in advance

Integrate appropriate feature test cases into the regression library

Identify dependencies across features and potential risks from code changes

API Testing:

Capable with API testing tools like Postman.

Release Management:

Provide accurate and timely quality updates to the team

Review code changes to ensure adequate coverage through manual or automated testing

Verify the accuracy of release notes

Leading the team of juniors, medians and seniors

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

5+ years experience as a QA Analyst or similar role

Proficient in test case design and execution

Experience with test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)

Knowledge of regression testing practices

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently

High attention to detail and organizational skills

Familiarity with software development lifecycle and risk management

Understanding of usability, security, and accessibility testing principles
