QA Engineer

Pointsharp:
As a QA Engineer at Pointsharp, you will contribute to meaningful products within a friendly and collaborative environment. Together with your team, you will help strengthen the product portfolio as Pointsharp continues its journey to become a leading cybersecurity player in Europe.

You will be part of an international development organization, collaborating with colleagues across the Pointsharp Group in multiple European locations. Working closely with developers, product owners, and designers, you will help ensure that the products we build are reliable, secure, and easy to use.

This position is on an entry level, and particularly well suited for someone at the start of their professional career, for example a recent graduate from a Software Testing or Test Automation program, who enjoys understanding how software works and contributing to improving product quality.

What does this role entail?:
Test Automation (approximately 50%)
Develop and maintain automated tests for Pointsharp’s Access Management products. Working with modern test automation tools such as Playwright, contributing to increased test coverage and reliability across the system. This includes exploring AI-assisted approaches to support test creation and contributing to automated security and robustness testing where relevant.

Manual Testing (approximately 25%)
Design and execute manual and exploratory tests for new features and existing functionality. Identify, document, and track bugs while working closely with developers to understand issues and verify fixes.

Build and Release Support (approximately 25%)
Assist with build, packaging, and release processes, helping ensure that software is properly prepared, validated, and delivered across different environments.

How we work• The team uses Scrum with a focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
• Quality is a shared responsibility within the team. Testing includes manual exploratory testing, regression testing, and gradually expanding automation as part of the development process
• Applications built using a diverse set of languages and technologies, mainly C++, C#, REST APIs, React, Java.
• Product are deployed in customer's on-premises environments and in cloud environments
• Collaboration and project management are supported by tools from Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket for Git)

Qualifications and your profile:
• Recent graduate in Software Testing, Test Automation, or a related QA-focused program (LIA/Internship experience is a plus)
• Basic understanding of test cases, exploratory/regression testing, bug tracking, and web applications/APIs
• Works well with teammates and motivated to grow skills in testing tools, automation, and QA practices
• We value curiosity, growth, and practical learning
• Clear and collaborative communication in English

Relevant Education• Higher Vocational Education (YH) in Software Testing, Test Automation, or a similar QA-focused program 
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
• Or equivalent education or practical experience
