QA Engineer PT

Abtrace is a health tech company based in London also with a presence in Portugal, with a team of doctors, researchers, developers and data scientists that bring together software engineering, machine learning expertise and medical experience to build clinical algorithms to support primary care clinicians.

The team is dedicated to creating digital health software to deliver Population Health interventions individualized to patients. This involves the continuous scanning of the entire health record of a patient to detect signals of deterioration, early onset of new disease and opportunities for preventative interventions.

We work with over 500 primary care practices in the UK covering 4.5 million patients.



About the role:

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team who works well in a fast moving team and communicates effectively with non-technical team members.

The core of the role will be doing UAT, ideally write tests with experience of testing frameworks.

Responsibilities:

Support testing of the Abtrace product and functionalities. We develop with AWS backend (using lambda's extensively) in python/node.js and react front-end including an electron application.

Requirements:
• Experience in API/Backend testing
• Experience with AWS services
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases as well as test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools particularly for web-based applications (electron app)
• Experience in healthcare data, regulatory frameworks like ISO27001 ISMS or ISO13485 QMS (desirable)
• Domain knowledge of Python (desirable)
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject (desirable)
