We are looking for a QA Engineer to come join out product team working on our payments function!
Requirements:
What you will be doing!
• Conduct functional testing of the components and end-to-end
• Building and maintaining distributed test environments
• Keeps test documentation(in Gherkin) up to date and well formed (test cases, test suites, test plans)
• Responsible for the quality of the deliverables
• Participate in sprint planning to ensure quality of requirements and may extend requirements for testability purpose
• Communication with the team (developers, devOps, QA Automation Engineers)
• Performs any activity required to guaranty the quality
What we expect from you!
• Experience (Minimum 2+ years) in API/UI Testing (Preferably Payments/CRM domain)
• Excellent analytical skills to identify areas to improve
• Experience in Agile methodologies and working across multiple squads/teams
• Experience with requirements analysis (story creation and Definition of Ready), defect tracking, coordinating with team members in different locations, and test reporting and signoff (Definition of Done).
Skills
• The life cycle of software development and the main types of testing at each stage
• Main software testing methodologies
• Approaches to the analysis of business requirements
• SQL
• English language (at least - at the level of reading technical documentation)
• Understanding working principal of client-server communication (Http)
• Experience in Gherkin
• Experience in testing backend (API/ Message brokers)
• Experience with different sniffers (Postman, Charles, Fiddler)
• Experience with prepare/configuration/deploy test environments
• Experience with Kibana
• Experience with version control systems
