The Role

Quality Assurance plays a critical role in how we build products at Codeway. QA here is not just about running tests, it’s about safeguarding the experience of millions of users before every release. We are looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile applications across multiple product categories. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to validate features, identify risks early, and contribute to a high standard of delivery. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical foundations with a proactive mindset and enjoys improving both product quality and testing processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

◦ Review product requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide early and actionable feedback.
◦ Design and maintain comprehensive, well-structured test cases and test scenarios.
◦ Plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities across features and releases.
◦ Execute manual and automated tests across iOS and Android applications.
◦ Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
◦ Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing before releases.
◦ Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues efficiently.
◦ Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and automation coverage.
◦ Monitor quality metrics such as defect trends and release stability.
◦ Stay up to date with modern testing strategies and tools.

What You’ll Bring

◦ 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within mobile applications.
◦ Experience writing clear, structured, and comprehensive test cases.
◦ Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
◦ Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
◦ Experience testing iOS and Android applications.
◦ Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
◦ Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
◦ Experience with at least one mobile automation framework (e.g., Appium, Espresso, EarlGrey).
◦ Understanding of regression, performance, smoke, or security testing principles.
◦ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
