QA Engineer (all genders)

Your creative field:
We are looking for a full-time, permanent QA Engineer (all genders) to start on 01.07.2026 in Germany. We live remote-first, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations.

In this role, you take full ownership of the quality of our products - from the very beginning through to release. You get involved early in new features, analyze product requirements and user stories, and provide direct feedback, always keeping testability and potential risks in mind.

Together with the team, you continuously evolve our test strategy and ensure that processes and quality metrics grow in a meaningful way and align with our products.
You analyze requirements and acceptance criteria and derive well-structured test cases and thoughtful test plans.
Once the concept is in place, you move into execution, performing manual tests ranging from functional and regression testing to exploratory testing and user acceptance testing in close collaboration with stakeholders.
During development, you actively contribute by testing new features early and helping identify issues before they even arise.

Another key focus is the development and maintenance of automated tests - whether at the UI, API, or integration level. You contribute to continuous testing approaches and support the creation of stable and efficient pipelines.
Identifying the root cause of issues comes naturally to you: you analyze, document, and track defects thoroughly, create clear and reproducible bug reports and always keep the impact in mind. You prepare and communicate test results in a way that makes them actionable for the team.

In your day-to-day work, you collaborate closely with developers, clarify requirements early on, support debugging efforts and actively contribute to resolving issues. Even when handling multiple topics in parallel, you stay organized and prioritize effectively in line with company goals.

• Several years of experience in Software Testing / QA (approx. 5+ years), ideally in agile environments
• Strong expertise in test automation using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Frisby, Supertest)
• Familiarity in exploratory, regression and API testing (REST)
• Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, browser DevTools)
• Proficient in using Git, bug tracking and test reporting tools
• Experience with UAT, stakeholder communication and ideally performance or integration testing, as well as improving QA processes
• Solid understanding of test design, test strategies and quality assurance processes
