QA/BA Consultant (Banking) | Profile Software

Job Summary:

The QA/BA Consultant, based in Athens, will play a key role in encompassing business analysis, managing blueprints and business requirements documents (BRDs), and overseeing project implementation. You will also provide support and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the seamless improvement and maintenance of client infrastructures and the successful delivery of projects and products.

What You Will Do:

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage actively with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to deeply understand their challenges and requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Business Requirement Documentation: Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements in close collaboration with customer stakeholders.
• Technical Communication: Communicate with technical teams to assess the feasibility and efficiency of proposed functionalities related to digital payment systems and credit card transaction management.
• Design and execute test scenarios that ensure seamless application functionality
• Analyze requirements and functional designs to create effective testing strategies
• Maintain and enhance the Test Scenarios database
• Support and participate in test execution processes
• Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects/issues of test or production environments. Follow up and maintenance of the relevant tools (i.e. Jira)
• Support UAT environments and maintain test PCs
• Project Documentation & Support: Provide support in creating and updating project documentation as required.

Requirements:
What You Bring to the Table:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A BSc in Computer Science, Financial Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, particularly with software products.
• Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of conveying complex ideas clearly.
• Prior experience in the banking domain is a plus.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with global reach.
• A hands-on, proactive approach.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
